Firle Beacon' was captured during a walk on Mount Caburn in Lewes, Sussex, to capture the sunrise.  It was a cold morning and I had to work fast to capture the essence of the morning in charcoal, in my A4 Windsor and Newton sketchbook.

I love the simplicity of line and form within the work.
The work is traditionally mounted with a contemporary black frame, and glazed.
